Jacob Bøggild (1963) is a professor at The Hans Christian Andersen Centre at the Department for the Study of Culture, University of Southern Denmark. He's author of monographies on Hans Christian Andersen, SørenKierkegaard and Lars von Trier, editor and co-editor of a number of anthologies on, amongst other subjects, Hans Christian Andersen and Karen Blixen, author of the postscript to the second Danish edition of the Danish translation of Tzvetan Todorov’s Introduction à la Littérature fantastique.
