Charlotte Johanne Fabricius is a PhD candidate at the University of Southern Denmark. Her doctoral work investigates manifestations of superheroic girlhood in contemporary superhero comics through intersectional critique of comics aesthetics. She has published work on the body politics of superhero comics, included in Monstrous Women in Comics (U. of Mississippi Press, 2020) and forthcoming in the journal Academic Quarter. She also writes a blog on comics and feminism on the Danish comics news site Nummer9.
